About the role:

We’re looking for a commercially minded Product Specialist to join our EMEA team and play a key role in supporting our sales organisation across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical product knowledge with commercial insight, helping our teams deliver the right solutions for our customers and drive growth across EMEA.

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted product expert, partnering closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, identify the right solutions and provide guidance on pricing, deal strategy and value-added opportunities. You’ll also have the opportunity to deliver product training, share your expertise and respond to technical enquiries.

Responsibilities

1: Support the sales organisations. This will mean:

  • Supporting the sales teams by finding the right instruments to meet the customer’s specification
  • Advising on rental pricing, deal strategy and value-add selling
  • Answering customers’ technical questions and providing technical support generally
  • Provide training to the sales teams
  • Set-up meetings between sales teams and key-suppliers
  • Support the sales team (and the rest of the organisation) by using the Horizon ERP system. This includes suggesting improvements, testing new developments and implement process-changes

2: Manage a part of the total European / Asian rental inventory and working with the Americas’ PM team, the global inventory. This mean looking after a defined number of product groups in the inventory.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor the performance, both financially and time wise
  • Manage actively refreshment of the inventory
  • Maintain purchase forecast
  • Support Sourcing team on investments
  • Maintain rental and sales prices in our systems
  • Maintain product information in our systems
  • Maintain relationships with key contacts within the relevant supplier organisations
  • Report monthly to management about performance of inventory and actions to be taken
