Job description

LGV Driver - Shunter Driver

Monday - Friday (45 hours per week)

Start/finish times: 9am to 18.00

£16.87p/h (Overtime available)

We are looking for an experienced and reliable LGV class 2 Shunter Driver to join our depot team.

As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving and positioning HGVs and trailers around the depot, ensuring vehicles are available and ready for daily operations.

Requirements

  • Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous shunting experience preferred
  • Experience manoeuvring HGVs, trailers and/or articulated vehicles
  • Confident reversing and positioning vehicles in a busy depot environment
  • Good awareness of health & safety and site procedures
  • Ability to carry out vehicle checks and report defects
