Integrations Manager, Production Workflows

This role is responsible for running steady-state operations for critical production technology platforms, while also building new workflow solutions and transforming existing production processes. It leads the design, support, governance and continuous improvement of production platforms, workflow automation and operational integrations across WPP Production. The role acts as the bridge between production engineering, operations and technology, ensuring day-to-day services remain reliable and resilient while enabling more scalable, efficient and future-ready ways of working. It translates business and client requirements into practical technical solutions, improved workflows and automation that support operational performance, consistency and transformation across production environments.

What you'll be doing:

Platform Ownership

• Own the operational management and engineering of multiple production technology platforms.
• Support software renewals, licensing, supplier relationships and budgets.
• Support platform roadmaps and lifecycle plans.

Workflow Architecture & Automation

• Design, develop and govern end-to-end production workflows.
• Create and maintain integrations between production systems.
• Lead workflow optimisation initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency and quality.
• Define standards for automation and workflow governance.

Production Technology Leadership

• Serve as the senior subject matter expert across print, publishing, packaging, moving image, and production workflows.
• Translate operational production challenges into technical solutions.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical and workflow issues.

Application & Infrastructure Oversight

• Operational oversight of platforms including Automation Engine, PitStop, GMG, Signiant, Media Shuttle, Workato, ZyFlow, FileMaker, Atlas integrations and associated automation tooling.
• Ensure operational resilience across global server and workflow environments.
• Coordinate with Production Technology, Infrastructure, Atlas and vendor teams.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders including onboarding, production and platform teams.
• Evaluate and prioritise new business requirements, aligned to roadmaps and team capacity.

Governance & Risk Management

• Maintain documentation, repositories, and operational standards.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with WPP security standards.

What you'll need:

• Significant experience within production, publishing, print, packaging and media operations.
• Strong workflow automation and systems integration experience.
• Experience managing enterprise platforms and suppliers.
• Understanding of Adobe production workflows and PDF generation processes.
• Knowledge of workflow engines, APIs, scripting and automation.
• Ability to translate operational business requirements into technical solutions.
• Leadership and people management experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• JavaScript or automation scripting experience.
• Knowledge of colour management and proofing technologies.
• Understanding of SaaS platform administration.
• Experience operating in a global production environment.
