You will :

Be the Clinical expert resource both internally and externally for Vantive assisted Peritoneal Dialysis Service.

Develop and implement training programmes for Vantive products and devices for nurses employed by a third party provider.

Manage and maintain relationships and standards between 3rd party nursing agency across all Vantive’s core therapy areas that are outsourced.

Deliver educational programs both internally and externally to meet the needs of the customer, patient and business plans including development and expansion of foundation training for NHS nurses.

Support medical function in Internal and external education, and Therapy Area programs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clinical lead for renal assisted PD service
• Clinical advisor to commercial account teams
• Therapy education training for 3rd party nurse providers.
• Competency supervision and sign off for third party Clinical Leads and Training nurses
• Therapy education training internally and support patient training programs
• Collaborative working across therapy area and wider Vantive business
• Collaborative working across therapy area with business function.
• Management of third-party nurse provision for therapy area including capacity planning, monitoring, oversight of service quality and monitor provider key performance indicators of nurse supplier.
• Escalation resources for both customers and 3rd party provider.
• Develop and maintain training documentation, protocols and procedures for therapy area.
• Approval reviewer of training materials to support medical function.
• Input into Clinical Governance group with relevant governance issues.
• Collaborative working across the cluster to share and develop protocols and proceedures for any clinical service required by Vantive.
• Share best practice across the nursing function and work collaboratively with nursing colleages.
• Acurate documentation and activity reporting using relevant tools.
• Management of relevant complaints systems and services

Qualifications, Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing

With a minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience (of those a min of 2 years spent in either community-based management or nursing management roles)

Proven experience in renal nursing

Commercial experience

Experienced trainer and assessor

Experience of teaching and educational processes

Ability to understand therapy market dynamics and customer needs

Strong patient focus

Established credibility within the profession

Critical thinking and problem solving

Ability to work across multifunctional teams and lead where appropriate

Experienced in principles of teaching and education
