Warehouse Operative

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse, ensuring the security of stock and the warehouse premises.

• Process incoming and outgoing goods, pick and pack customer orders and inter-branch transfers, and serve customers at the trade counter when required.

• Assemble orders accurately from stock and check them against the relevant paperwork.

• Maintain and complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly.

• Inspect goods received, record details on goods received notes (GRNs), and put stock away promptly while ensuring proper stock rotation.

• Remain vigilant and comply with all relevant health and safety requirements when working in the warehouse.

• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate courteously and professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

• Experience in the electrical wholesale industry would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

Hours of work: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
