Job description
Senior Trading Manager
Luton | Full-time | Hybrid
20% bonus • 7% pension • Staff travel benefits
We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.
You turn commercial signals into bold trading decisions, and bring a team with you to improve revenue performance.
The opportunity
This is a pivotal role in easyJet’s Trading and Revenue Management teams, setting and delivering the trading strategy for a portfolio of routes to maximise total revenue per seat and profit.
Reporting to the Head of Trading, you’ll lead Managers and Analysts, interpret sales and competitor trends, test opportunities and coordinate action across the wider Commercial, Marketing and Planning function.
“We’re looking for someone who can see the story behind performance, make confident commercial calls and help their team keep learning. You’ll have the space to test ideas, influence across the business and turn insight into stronger route results.”
Trading Team, easyJet
The team & culture
You’ll join a collaborative Trading and Revenue Management environment where people share insight, challenge established approaches and work together on route, regional and network wide opportunities.
You’ll lead a team of Trading Managers and Analysts, creating clear objectives, development plans and the support people need to build both commercial knowledge and leadership capability.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead the trading strategy for your assigned region, diagnosing performance and focusing the team on the routes and actions with the greatest commercial impact.
You’ll shape pricing, promotional and competitive responses, track whether activity is revenue positive and adjust plans as customer demand and competitor behaviour change.
You’ll bring stakeholders together across Commercial, Marketing, Network, Planning and country teams, presenting regional performance clearly and securing support for the right action.
You’ll develop your team through regular feedback, purposeful objectives, training and succession planning, while taking ownership of key projects and continuous improvement.
