We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our People team on a 9–12 month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a hands-on role for someone who has already worked at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level and can make an impact from day one.

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: Hybrid. London office at least 2 days per week, plus travel to our Bracknell office twice a month or as required

About the role

Reporting to the HR Director, UK & Ireland, and working closely with our Chief People Officer, you'll provide expert HR support across our UK & Ireland business and contribute to key People projects across the Group.

The key elements of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • HR technology and AI: Maintain and develop our AI-powered HR tools and knowledge bases. Drive process automation and support People analytics and reporting.
  • People projects and change: Lead on strategic Group-wide projects, including acquisitions, HR due diligence, employee transfers, organisational design and our annual Year-End Review process.
  • Employee experience: Lead on projects such as our Employee Exchange Programme, engagement surveys and our CSR initiatives.
  • Core HR: You'll deliver the fundamentals of our HR service. You'll lead and support employee relations activity, coach managers on people matters, and develop HR policies and manager training.

About you

You'll be a proactive, forward-thinking HR professional who enjoys variety, builds relationships naturally and brings energy and resilience to a fast-paced, changing environment. You'll be confident using AI to work smarter, and you'll be ready to hit the ground running.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR, Senior HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner role, with the ability to work autonomously from the start
  • Demonstrable experience identifying, adopting and embedding AI tools within HR processes (essential)
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experienced in managing employee relations cases and HR processes
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, leading project end to end with a keen eye for detail
  • CIPD qualification (or part-qualified), or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems

  • Desirable: experience with HRIS platforms (ideally Dayforce), degree-level education, and experience with engagement, benefits or People projects
