Research Manager

You will maintain and prioritize the research backlog, scope and manage external researchers, and move research from draft to publication. You will establish scalable research processes, maintain an expert network, support education delivery, and surface findings that shape the organization’s research strategy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritize the research backlog
• Translate strategic priorities into well-scoped research questions
• Track dependencies and flag changing priorities
• Source and match contractors and fellows to research questions
• Scope engagements and manage deliverables and timelines
• Provide feedback on drafts and keep research on track
• Own the draft-to-published pipeline
• Edit outputs to publication-ready standards
• Establish research templates, review processes, and quality standards
• Maintain a network of contractors, fellows, and expert reviewers
• Surface research insights and process improvements for strategy
