Project Manager

Mulberry is seeking an experienced and adaptable Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology, digital and business transformation initiatives that support our turnaround and growth strategy.

You will manage multiple concurrent projects across digital commerce, retail technology, business systems and operational change, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party delivery partners.

This role requires a resilient and pragmatic delivery professional who is comfortable working across Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid and Continuous Delivery environments while maintaining strong project governance and delivery discipline.

The successful candidate will combine excellent project management fundamentals with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and delivery outcomes matter.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and business change projects from initiation through to operational handover.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, budget, timelines and business outcomes.
• Apply appropriate delivery approaches, including Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
• Drive accountability across cross-functional teams, suppliers and implementation partners.
• Establish clear governance, reporting and decision-making structures.

Planning, Governance & Control

• Define project scope, objectives, plans, budgets and resource requirements.
• Maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, project reporting and governance documentation.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies and ensure timely resolution of risks and issues.
• Manage project change requests and maintain control of scope, schedule and costs.
• Provide concise and accurate status reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Quality, Testing & Business Readiness

• Ensure robust delivery and quality controls are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing activities including QA, SIT, UAT, OAT, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Ensure clear entry and exit criteria, defect management and go-live readiness assessments.
• Support business readiness, operational handover and post-implementation stabilisation activities.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Build trusted relationships across business and technology functions.
• Act as the central point of coordination between stakeholders, project teams and suppliers.
• Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
• Facilitate effective communication and alignment across all project participants.

Continuous Improvement

• Capture lessons learned and drive improvements to delivery practices and project governance.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Mulberry's project management and delivery capability.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential

• Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale technology, digital transformation or business change projects.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to transition and benefits realisation.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project planning, governance, budgeting and risk management skills.
• Knowledge of software delivery lifecycles and testing methodologies including QA, SIT, UAT and OAT.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Highly organised, resilient and delivery-focused.

Desirable

• Experience within retail, omni-channel, e-commerce or luxury retail environments.
• Experience delivering ERP, CRM, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain or Data transformation projects.
• Experience of turnaround, transformation or high-growth business environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar delivery management tools.

Qualifications

• PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master or equivalent certification.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent practical experience.
