Programme Manager Business Partner

We are working closely with Cardiff Capital Region to assist with the appointment of a Programme Manager Business Partner, on a 6-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £24.59 - £32.69 per hour

Summary:

A Programme Management Business Partner is required to lead the planning, development and delivery of complex, high-value regional programmes. The role will provide strategic programme leadership, manage budgets and risks, develop business cases and work with senior stakeholders and regional partners to deliver economic and social outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full programme lifecycle for complex strategic programmes.
• Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, delivery plans and milestones.
• Manage budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and performance.
• Build strong relationships with government departments, local authorities, businesses and delivery partners.
• Influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience leading complex programmes, projects or portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of programme/project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, funding agreements and delivery partners.
• Proven ability to influence and work with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing business cases, funding proposals or strategic plans.
