Join us as a Product Manager (Supply Chain & Fulfilment) and you’ll be a big part of this.

Role Purpose: As a Product Manager within Supply Chain, Fulfilment and Customer Services, you will own a portfolio of technology products that enable the movement of millions of customer orders through our stores, fulfilment centres, carrier networks and home delivery operations.

You will work across B&Q and Kingfisher to identify opportunities where technology can improve customer experience, operational performance and commercial outcomes. Acting as the bridge between operational teams and technology delivery partners, you will shape product strategy, define roadmaps, secure investment and deliver measurable business value.

The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on engagement across our operations, ensuring technology investments solve real business problems and support the continued evolution of our fulfilment network and customer proposition. Initially, the role will play a key part in major transformation programmes including the development and rollout of our new transport scheduling and management system across our fulfilment centres and stores.

What's the job?

• Own the strategy, roadmap and prioritised backlog for a portfolio of fulfilment, logistics and customer delivery technology products, ensuring investment is aligned to B&Q strategic priorities and delivers measurable business value.
• Work closely with operational stakeholders, Group Technology teams, architecture partners and suppliers to identify opportunities where technology can improve customer experience, operational performance and commercial outcomes.
• Use data, research and first-hand operational insight from stores, fulfilment centres and logistics networks to identify, quantify and prioritise opportunities for improvement.
• Shape future product capabilities through discovery, business case development and early solution design, supporting the evaluation of effort, cost, benefits and delivery approaches.
• Represent B&Q within Kingfisher Product and Technology forums, influencing priorities, roadmaps and investment decisions across shared technology platforms.
• Lead the development of funding proposals and investment cases, ensuring technology investment delivers strong returns whilst operating within agreed budgets and governance processes.
• Play a key role in major business and technology transformation programmes, supporting the modernisation of fulfilment, order management, delivery and customer service capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, technology partners and suppliers, ensuring alignment on priorities, delivery plans and business outcomes.
• Support the selection, management and evolution of technology partners and platforms, helping maximise value from existing and future investments.
• Identify emerging trends, innovations and technologies across retail, logistics and fulfilment, recommending opportunities that could create competitive advantage for B&Q and Kingfisher.
• Promote product-led ways of working across the business, helping teams focus on customer outcomes, measurable value and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with delivery, engineering and architecture teams to ensure products are implemented successfully, adopted effectively and deliver intended benefits.
• Deliver value primarily through collaboration with suppliers, partners and Group-managed technology teams, influencing outcomes without direct ownership of a dedicated engineering squad.

Key Business Relationships:

• This role will be based within the B&Q Technology Team and will require you to build effective working relationships with the stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, and digital, as well as with our logistics and technology partners.
• You will need to develop a good understanding of the business processes in these areas and the technology that supports them, to enable you to identify and understand how technology can enable and drive better ways of working.
• The role will also work closely with various teams in Group Technology to represent B&Q in planning, design and prioritisation discussions, as well as being part of the relevant governance and prioritisation forums.
• The roles will also be outward looking and understand the broader retail technology landscape including recent innovation and how other retailers are using technology to drive a better customer experience and operations. This will require developing relationships with new and existing technology vendors/partners.
• The role is a key part of the B&Q Product & Technology team which owns the technology roadmap for B&Q to enable the future growth of the business, ensure efficiencies and create competitive advantage.

What we need:

· Product Management experience within retail, logistics, fulfilment, supply chain or eCommerce environments.

· Experience owning and developing technology products from strategy through to delivery and value realisation.

· Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

· Experience developing product roadmaps, prioritising competing demands and managing investment decisions.

· Commercial awareness, including business case development, benefits tracking and budget management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to support decision making.

· Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable technology solutions.

Desired:

· Experience with order management, order sourcing, transportation management, carrier management or fulfilment technologies

· Knowledge of retail fulfilment, warehouse operations, home delivery networks or last-mile logistics

· A willingness to lean in and live the operation alongside our teams, supporting the design, delivery and deployment of solutions alongside business stakeholders

Whilst this role is a Product Manager role, we would also love to hear from you if you have delivered software in a product-led/agile way as a Delivery or Project Manager.
