An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Rental Driver (HGV Class 1 / HGV Class 2) to join our Flexi-Hire Rental team. The National Rental Driver you will be responsible for the transportation of a large range of HGVs on a national basis.

Please note- NRG Riverside operate from the North to the South of the UK and there will be flexibility required in order to service customers all over the country from one day to another, therefore the role will be suited to somebody who is happy to work within unstructured hours and can effectively manage their own workload. The role will include 1-3 nights out per week, as well as travel on public transport where needed.

What will you be doing?

The National Rental Driver will be responsible for the delivery and collection of a wide range of HGV vehicles while providing a consistently good level of customer service.

You’ll D&C customer vehicles for the workshop and prepare vehicles for hire, as well as valet HGVs and inspect them for damage.

You’ll complete rental related paperwork where necessary, and take workshop vehicles to HGV testing stations.

What are we looking for?

You'll ideally have:

• HGV Class 1 licence or Class 2 license
• Experience within a similar role such as HGV Driver, Class 1 Driver, Truck Driver, Rental Driver, National Class 1 Driver, National Class 2 Driver, Class 2 Driver
• Flexibility to work unstructured hours and within a large geographical area- This is a must!
• Happy with nights out and public transport (2-3 days a week currently)
• An excellent NRG Riverside representative with a friendly and helpful attitude with the ability to maintain a good level of customer service
• Ability to manage own workload and logistics against business needs and customer demand
