Job description

Lead Commercial Forecasting Manager

Luton | Full-time | Hybrid

20% bonus • 7% pension • Staff travel benefits

We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.

You turn complex commercial signals into forecasts people can trust and decisions the business can act on.

You combine sharp analytical thinking with commercial judgement, clear storytelling and the confidence to challenge assumptions. If you want to shape how an airline plans for future performance, this is your opportunity.

The opportunity

As Lead Commercial Forecasting Manager, you’ll lead easyJet’s forecasting of demand, ticket and ancillary revenue, profit and load factor, giving the business a clear view of future commercial performance.

You’ll own the end to end forecasting process across a rolling 18 month horizon, improving models, assumptions and ways of working while supporting commercial planning, budgeting and strategic decision making.

“This role is about more than producing a forecast. We’re looking for someone who is curious about what drives performance, confident challenging assumptions and brilliant at turning complex analysis into a clear commercial story.”
Trading & Distribution Team, easyJet

The team & culture

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Trading, Network, Revenue Management, Scheduling, Commercial Finance and Commercial Analytics, bringing their inputs together into one consistent and trusted forecast.

It’s a collaborative environment where evidence matters, constructive challenge is welcome and continuous improvement is part of the day job. You’ll build strong relationships and help stakeholders make decisions with confidence.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead monthly forecasts for ticket revenue, ancillary revenue, profit and load factor at route and month level, as well as the bottom up revenue budget forecast.

You’ll own key assumptions around competitive capacity, network and capacity plans, economic drivers and strategic initiatives, applying sound judgement when market conditions or route circumstances change.

You’ll explain forecast movements, risks and opportunities through clear commentary, scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling, helping decision makers understand the commercial implications.
