Our client, a growing precision engineering manufacturer supplying the aerospace industry, are now looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a 17-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

HR Advisor – Maternity Cover
Job Description

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to employees and Line Managers, ensuring a consistent and fair approach to people-related matters.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies and procedures in line with business requirements and employment legislation.
• Monitor and analyse HR data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement across areas such as absence, employee relations, recruitment and retention.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning activities
• Build strong relationships across the site, working collaboratively with managers and employees

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Strong experience working at HR Advisor level
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• CIPD qualification is highly desirable but not needed
