THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide outstanding 1:1 support to one of the Co-Founding partners of Blenheim Chalcot with all areas of business support. Working closely with the EA to the other Co-Founder you’ll be an integral part at the heart of BC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious business at an exciting
time of growth. The Co-Founder has a wide variety of business, charity and social interests, and needs someone who has superb organisational skills who can keep up with the pace of the role.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Sole responsibility for managing a complex set of engagements - business and occasional personal appointments
  • High volume of internal and external meeting coordination
  • Facilitating the seamless running of every day – greeting guests, preparing meeting rooms, timekeeping etc
  • Reacting swiftly and efficiently to short notice changes
  • Having the tenacity to ensure tasks are seen through to completion
  • Developing a good understanding of business priorities
  • Proactively assisting with document creation and maintenance
  • Preparing and collating information for board packs using PowerPoint
  • Liaising both internally and externally with Board members, key stakeholders and clients
  • Co-ordinating travel, hotels, visa etc
  • Personal and business administrative duties, and personal tasks as required
  • As with this type of role, ad hoc tasks as require

ABOUT YOU:

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a similar position, but would consider candidate with a strong set of transferrable skills e.g. event management experience
  • Great commercial awareness
  • Be able to demonstrate upmost professionalism and be comfortable representing the business to our network, which includes regularly liaising with high-status guests and HNWIs’
  • First-rate written and verbal English, comfortable with drafting professional correspondence
  • Able to troubleshoot issues before they become problematic, and proactively anticipate priorities
  • Excellent MS Outlook/Word/Powerpoint/Sharepoint skills
  • Experience within a start-up culture ideal but not essential
  • Highly organised, efficient and systematic
  • Ability to exercise discretion around sensitive and business issues
  • Supreme efficiency and attention to detail with the ability to adeptly multi-task
  • Patience, tenacity and flexibility, with a calm and "unflappable" nature
  • Self-initiative solution driven and able to think quickly on your feet "No task too small" attitude, happy to get stuck in and get things done
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and work well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of
    seniority.
