Energy Manager

· Maintain energy use data. Develop reporting tools and presentation. Act as the controller to identify abnormal behaviour and communicate to the relevant parts of the business as appropriate.

· Act as the administrator and point of contact to work with the DNO. Be responsible for the monitoring of the incoming supply, monitor the efficiencies of the transformers, the effectivity of the power factor correction and reduction of harmonics.

· Maintain plans of internal distribution of Power, Gas, and Water

· Devise a strategy for reducing energy costs and environmental impact. Advise the business of updates in technology that could offer cost and/or sustainability improvements.

· Advise on improvements to building infrastructure to reduce energy and reduce emissions.

· Develop and improve the energy and water monitoring systems. Improve the internal sub-metering along with the BMS and make the best cost-effective solutions for monitoring and control. Ensure timely collection of in-house meter readings

· Be the principle person for the administration of legal requirements that are demanded by CCA, ESOS and SECR, working with the sustainability team.

· Manage the F gas using plant and equipment. Ensure effective maintenance and recording as per legal requirements.

· Maintain water records and compliance to L8, working with contractors.

· Demonstrable experience of working successfully in a similar role in energy management, energy auditing or a related field.

· Demonstrable success of collaborating, supporting and providing guidance to a multi-disciplinary team of professions and specialists working to critical deadlines.

· Experience of effectively influencing all levels of management.

· Experience of working within a high-volume, competitive business environment.

· Experience with interacting with external suppliers / stakeholders.

· Experience of successfully managing projects.

· Strong knowledge of energy management principles, practices, and technologies.

· Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and their integration into energy management systems.

· Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental regulations.

· Experience in conducting energy audits and implementing energy-saving measures.

· Familiarity with energy regulations, codes, and standards, and the ability to ensure compliance.
