Role Summary The EHS Manager plays a crucial role in guiding our Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives. Your leadership will be vital in driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across all our sites. This position is key to building a culture of safety and sustainability, ensuring we meet our legal, financial, and moral obligations. What you’ll be doing Strategy Implementation: Execute EHS and Sustainability strategies, ensuring compliance and enhancing performance. Leadership and Vision: Inspire and motivate colleagues to achieve excellence, mentoring them in developing new skills. EHS Compliance and Risk Management: Lead internal audits, monitor risk assessments, investigate incidents, and ensure plant and personnel safety. Best Practices: Develop and deploy best practices for EHS and Sustainability, manage sustainability frameworks, and optimise performance through continuous improvement initiatives. Departmental Management: Provide leadership, develop annual plans, manage budgets, and ensure high performance in EHS, Facilities, and Sustainability departments. Who you will be working with You will be a proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), collaborating with various departments and external contractors. You will work closely with sustainability leaders, local teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and drive strategic development across all areas of responsibility. Your key objective will be to cultivate a Health and Safety culture that promotes zero accidents and incidents, while maximising social impact and minimising environmental impact through effective sustainability practices. The successful candidate will always consider the safety and wellbeing of others. They will look to build relationships across the business, working collaboratively, sharing expertise and helping others.
