Your Role

As Commercial & Supply Chain Analyst - Pharmacy, you will own the commercial controls, reporting and supplier analysis that underpin pharmacy buying, margin delivery and effective implementation.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Managing commercial deal governance across generics, parallel imports and branded medicines, ensuring agreed terms are accurately reflected in supporting systems and reports
  • Producing and maintaining commercial agreement, rebate, cost of goods and supplier performance reporting, with clear controls and audit trails
  • Supporting negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers through robust analysis of cost, volume, service and commercial opportunities
  • Managing pharmacy price lists, approved product controls and commercial publications, ensuring information is accurate, current and clearly communicated
  • Monitoring wholesaler performance, availability, delivery data and reporting commitments, escalating risks and driving corrective action with suppliers
  • Using data to identify margin leakage, deal implementation issues, invoice exceptions and opportunities to improve commercial return
  • Coordinating the commercial implementation of new agreements and changes, working cross-functionally to confirm readiness and verify delivery into pharmacies
  • Building resilient, documented processes with clear ownership, backup cover and effective controls, while partnering with Operations, Compliance and Technology on regulated or system-led activity

This role requires strong judgement, attention to detail and the confidence to challenge suppliers and internal stakeholders in a fast-moving, regulated Healthcare environment.

About You

You will bring strong analytical and commercial capability, with the ability to translate complex supplier, pricing and supply chain information into clear actions.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in Commercial, Buying, Category Management, Supply Chain or Finance, ideally within Healthcare, Pharmacy, FMCG or another regulated environment
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience analysing supplier terms, rebates, costs, pricing, margin or service performance
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage complex workbooks, identify exceptions and maintain accurate controls
  • The ability to build effective relationships and influence suppliers, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail and a customer and patient-first mindset
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the resilience to manage competing deadlines and resolve issues through to completion
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with commercial reporting, ERP, pharmacy or supply chain systems would be advantageous
