Programme Eligibility
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
- You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
- You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
Additionally, you must also:
- Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 – Friday 21st July 2028
- Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?
You will work closely with the EMEA International Networks and Direct-To-Consumer Commercial team and support them to enable strategy and growth across the division. Interns are a crucial part of the team and will work on a wide variety of important projects supporting the team across a number of Entertainment and News portfolios.
You’ll join a team who are passionate about content sales and building successful commercial partnerships with key players across EMEA. As such it will offer an exciting opportunity to learn about the international media business and help the commercial team identify future growth opportunities in an ever-evolving media landscape.
As a commercial intern your day-to-day scope would focus on three different areas:
Account Management support:
- Liaise with marketing, legal and finance teams where required
- Regularly update the commercial summary tracker for the key affiliates in French Speaking territories
- Track and update monthly EMEA Affiliates tracker for News channels
- Research media landscape and help identify growth potential
- Join Finance and Legal monthly calls / Provide summary to Affiliate team
Deal negotiation:
- Help prepare sales materials and deal memos
- Assist with business travel and planning
Cross division:
- Liaise with Hayu DTC team to ensure synergies and for regular updates
What will I learn from this opportunity?
- Develop an understanding of the commercial distribution, advertising and streaming businesses within a global media company.
- Gain practical experience analysing commercial performance data, KPIs and partner reporting.
- Learn how to create compelling sales presentations, business updates and executive-ready materials.
- Build client management and stakeholder communication skills through exposure to affiliate and platform partners.
- Strengthen analytical, problem-solving and commercial decision-making capabilities by supporting live business opportunities and performance reviews.
- Gain insight into the TV, streaming and digital entertainment landscape across EMEA markets, including Hayu, NBCUniversal's direct-to-consumer services and linear channel portfolio.
