Job description

We’re looking for a culturally connected and commercially minded Brand Partnerships Manager to bring Disturbia into the rooms of the partnerships which matter.

Your purpose will be to develop and own a pipeline of distinctive, culturally appropriate partnerships . You’ll be responsible for identifying the right opportunities, making the approach, pitching our vision and building the relationships needed to turn ambitious ideas into reality.

This isn't a role where you wait for opportunities to find you. You should be an imaginative and tenacious door opener, comfortable approaching the right people, businesses and brands.

The right person will combine creative instinct with commercial judgement. You’ll understand what is culturally right for Disturbia, while knowing how to shape an idea, influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively and deliver partnerships with measurable impact.

This role is ideal for a culturally curious deal-maker who wants the freedom to build something distinctive, ambitious and unmistakably Disturbia.

  • Develop and own Disturbia’s cultural partnerships strategy, translating the brand vision into a focused pipeline of original, high-impact opportunities.
  • Identify culturally relevant partners across literature, publishing, art, music, film, television, entertainment, fashion and alternative culture.
  • Proactively approach rights holders, agents, studios, publishers, artists, labels and brands, securing conversations and confidently pitching Disturbia’s creative and commercial proposition.
  • Lead partnership negotiations from first contact through to agreement, shaping mutually valuable concepts, terms, budgets, rights and deliverables.
  • Manage collaborations end to end, coordinating stakeholders, timelines and delivery while protecting the creative integrity and commercial interests of the brand.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships across the cultural and creative industries, representing Disturbia with credibility and creating a network that unlocks future opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Brand, Social, Creative and Product teams to activate partnerships through compelling content, talent engagement, PR moments, events and campaigns.
  • Set clear measures of success and report on cultural, audience and commercial impact, using insight to strengthen the future partnerships pipeline.

  • Strong experience in brand partnerships, cultural collaborations, business development, PR, talent relations or a related field, with evidence of personally originating and securing opportunities.
  • A sharp understanding of Disturbia’s world of alternative culture and emerging creative scenes, with the judgement to recognise what is genuinely right for the brand.
  • A proactive new-business mindset, with the confidence and tenacity to open doors, make approaches and create momentum without waiting for inbound opportunities.
  • Excellent pitching, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to turn an ambitious idea into a clear and compelling proposition for senior external stakeholders.
  • A strong network across relevant creative or cultural industries, combined with the ability to build credible new relationships from scratch.
  • Commercial judgement and an understanding of how partnerships can drive cultural relevance, audience growth, earned attention and product or revenue performance.
  • The ability to operate strategically and independently while collaborating closely with creative, brand, social and product specialists.
  • Highly organised project leadership, with the resilience and attention to detail needed to manage multiple complex opportunities from concept to delivery.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
  • Holiday purchase scheme.
  • Participation in bonus scheme.
  • Comprehensive private health insurance
  • Flexible and hybrid working, with opportunities to work from home
  • Up to 50% employee discount across Disturbia collections
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Enhanced sick pay
  • Exclusive access to our regular sample sales
  • Access to our cycle to work scheme and high-street retail benefits.
You'll also find a few additional curiosities along the way:
  • Regular treats and surprises throughout the year
  • Legendary company celebrations hosted twice a year
  • The chance to work alongside a talented community of creatives, dreamers and doers
But most importantly of all:

Disturbia has spent the last three years being recognised as one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses, but growth isn't just about numbers. It's about creating opportunities for ambitious people to learn, evolve and carve out their own path. If you're drawn to the unconventional, inspired by creativity, and eager to leave your mark on something extraordinary, you'll find plenty of room to grow here.

After all, the most interesting journeys rarely follow the well-trodden road. ✨
