Job description
A Builder-Operator. A RevOps or Operations Lead who knows how to ship agents, or a product-minded engineer who prefers business workflows to product code.
You will decide what the Operations Team works on, and makes sure every project delivers real impact. You will own the operations roadmap end to end: choosing which projects get done, in what order, and how.
This is not a ticket-taking role. You will weigh big strategic projects against the steady flow of reactive BAU requests, and make the call. You will work with every team in the business to understand what they need, then pick the most effective, timely and affordable way to deliver it.
We want someone with an AI-first attitude, who reaches for AI where it builds better solutions and knows when it doesn't. You will also lead and grow an ambitious team.
This is a senior role inside one of Europe's fastest-growing B2B platforms, with real ownership of what the operations team builds.
You will have a direct line to the COO and SMT: high visibility, high impact.
Mission: make every revenue team at Connectd measurably faster by designing, building and owning AI-driven workflows end to end.
Own the Roadmap
Have the final say on which operations projects get worked on, and in what order.
Build and maintain a clear, visible operations roadmap that links each project to business priorities.
Say no, or not yet, to work that won't move the needle, and explain why.
Own the Impact
Get the most impact out of every project, from scoping through to adoption.
Understand what each key stakeholder group needs: Sales, Account Management, Product, Tech, People and SMT.
Communicate plans, progress and trade-offs clearly so the business knows what's coming and why.
Measure what each project actually delivers, and use that to shape what comes next.
Choose the Right Solution
Draw on your operational experience to pick the most effective, timely and affordable fix for each problem.
Balance quick wins against longer-term builds, and buy versus build.
Build by example
Experience that allows for you to demonstrate complex builds and inspire the team to more deftly use emerging technologies and more thoughtful fixes.
Lead with an AI-First Mindset
Look for places where AI can build better, more meaningful solutions, not just faster ones.
Know when AI is the right answer and when a simpler fix will do.
Help the wider business adopt AI tools and ways of working.
Lead and Grow the Team
Balance larger projects against reactive BAU requests so neither crowds out the other.
Line-manage the operations team: support them, build their skills and grow their careers.
Set clear priorities, standards and ways of working for the team.

Operator and process
Has run a RevOps or Ops function: HubSpot (or other CRM) admin depth including objects, pipelines, workflows, sequences and the API.
Owns funnel definitions and the forecast, can explain conversion by stage and build the reporting behind it in HubSpot or BI tools.
Process thinking: maps a messy human process, finds the part worth automating, says no to the rest.
Has designed a sales or customer success process, not just reported on it: stage criteria, routing, handoffs, renewals.
Agent building, AI & automation
Has shipped unattended agents with write access across RevOps, used by others for months. Can show run logs, failure rate and what changed after model upgrades.
Has shipped working automations using LLM APIs plus tools like n8n, Zapier, or custom scripts.
Hands-on with the current agent toolchain: MCP, tool use, structured outputs, prompt design under real constraints.
Keeps an eval set of real cases and scores it before changing a prompt or model. Can show one they maintained over time
Ownership of security and data hygiene: knows what data can go where, manages access and keys, keeps a register of what runs and who owns it.
Designs write-safe agents: dry-run modes, idempotent writes, human approval on high-risk changes, audit logs. Can describe an incident and the guardrail added afterwards
Data & Tech
Can model business entities and their lifecycles, and decide for each field which system is the source of truth and which direction data flows.
Writes glue code, uses git, builds integrations that handle auth, rate limits and retries.
Fluent in SQL, reads schemas unaided, uses BI Tools and data warehouse directly.
Has run a CRM hygiene programme: dedupe, required fields, enrichment, ownership rules teams follow.
